Laura Uplinger: Revealing stories of the womb and beyond

Is it possible that the most important months of your life -- the stories that have been shaping you ever since -- took place before you were born? Laura Uplinger is an educator and scholar focusing on our prenatal and peri-natal lives -- before and just after we were born. In this new interview, she explores how our awareness of and need for stories is part of us even before birth, and how stories all around us when we are small influence us in profound ways. Over more than 30 years, Uplinger has conducted workshops and presentations at conferences in Europe, North America and South America. She served for eleven years on the board of directors of APPPAH, the Association for Prenatal & Perinatal Psychology and Health. Currently, she is vice president of Brazil’s National Association for Prenatal Education, or ANEP.
